The Radiology department of the Klinikum Niederrhein equipped its operating theatres with Wacom Cintiq 21UX interactive pen displays to present clinical discussions of cases to other doctors. As the Radiology department is spread across four sites in the vicinity of Duisburg, Dinslaken and Oberhausen in Germany it was very important to digitise the process of transferring images between the sites, so the diagnostics presentations can take place entirely on the digital system.
